For every switch, your evonHOME uses a normal click, a double-click and a long-press. You therefore have 3 functions available, for example a double-click for a blinds switch automatically opens or closes the blinds! If you use a four-way switch, you can also switch the room lights on and off, control your blinds and you still have 7 commands unused! Hence: use few switches, but employ them all in the same way.

Width units in the distribution box are used according to DIN 43880

1 TE = 17,5mm

This results in the following width units according to the module dimensions:

• Module 22,5mm -> /17,5=1,3 == 2TE
• Module 45mm -> /17,5=2,6 == 3TE
• Module 67,5mm -> /17,5=3,9 == 4TE
• CPU 135mm -> /17,5=7,8 = 8TE

*Note: Mount the CPU in the distribution box such that several width units remain free in the left-hand side so that technology modules can be added later (SOUND, KNX, DMX, DALI etc.…).

Basically, all evonHOME switch outputs can be wired for 230V.

But since we already use 24V(DC) for the module inputs and the module power supply, we have had good experience with this load relay:
FINDER 46.61.9.024.0040 RELAY, SPCO, 16A, 24VDC
In any case, the relay should be dimensioned according to the load to be switched.

Currently, the CEOL Piccolo series from DENON is integrated.

The DRA-N5, for example is a well-priced amplifier that can be used for up to 4 rooms.

Whereby playing music in more than one room is done with an additional digital output module is used to control the loudspeakers (using the either – or method…).

Caution: To supply the U::Lux switch with power requires a network connection with power supply (PoE). This could be a PoE enabled router/switch output, or, if not available in the network, a power injector. You only need a Cat5 cable to connect the cameras and te intercom. Connect it directly to the router or switch.

You will need a PoE switch or a PoE injectr for the power supply. If you want to use the light switch on the external intercom, you will also need a two-wire (bus) cable in the fuse box.

Basically you can use any movement detector, but you will need to make sure that the input voltage to the modules is 24 V. If the movement detector is a 230 V device, you will need to use a relay upstream (coil voltage 230 V).

We recommend a proximity detector for indoor use 360 degree, ceiling-mounted from the company BEG Luxomat PD2-M-2C-11-48V-RR-AP / white 92305.

For flush-mounting, we would also recommend the company BEG and its Luxomat Indoor 180-R-11-48V-3A / white 92621

A surface-mounted variant for outdoor use (P54) would beform the company Esylux RC230i UC Art. Nr. EM10015649.

The time for movement and proxiity detectors must be set to impulse and the brightness set as required

On the electrical consumer side, you must adhere to the ÖVE regulations.

On the input side (24 VDC), you can use any wires and cables. We recommend cables with a minimum cross-section of 0.6 mm². It doesn't really matter which type you use. Everything is possible, from Cat5, DAY2Y or simply Ysch.

In our systems, we exclusively use push buttons and not switches. It doesn'r matter from which manufacturer.

The only requirement isthat they must be designed for at least 24 V switching, higher levels are always possible (e.g. 230V).

Of course, it is advantageous to use multiple push buttons (e.g. 4 off) offered by many manufactueres (e.g. Berker, Jung, etc.) in order to avoid "switch galleries".

The best way is to use a dedicated switch box. Most manufacturers have suitable covers (e.g. B&J central disk 2114).

We need two wires with a cross-section of at least 0.6 mm² for the wiring.

Yes. All you need to do is connect several actuators to the same cliamte model output in parallel.

Caution: check the total power requirements of the actuators!

Either 24 VDC or 230 VAC, depending on which voltage you have connected to your climate modules. In any case, use NC (neutral closed).

Since the installation with full heat protection is always difficult, we would recommend a device carrier from the company Kaiser Art.Nr. 9966.21 or 9966.22, depending on the strength of the full heating protection

In principle no. However, to maintain an overview, we recommed the use of a top-hat rail, e.g. from the company Wago, or an LSA Plus rail for the wiring of the buttons.

It is recommended to alsways use a multi-core cable to the first button, then proceed from there to the next button, ... (e.g. Ysch10x0.6).

Otherwise there is also the possibility of using a multi-core cable centrally from the distribution cabinet to a distribution point (e.g. 100x100) , and then wire the remaining buttons in star formation from there.

No, it doesn't. It would however mean that certain functions (e.g. push notifications, external access and updates) no longer function.
